Privacy Policy
Last updated: June 13, 2026
This policy explains what information Kaizhen collects when you visit kaizhen.pro, why we collect it, and the choices you have. It applies to this website and any forms or links hosted on the kaizhen.pro domain. It does not apply to third-party sites we link to, or to services delivered to clients under a separate engagement contract.
We try to keep this policy short and accurate. If anything here is unclear or appears wrong, email damian.k@kaizhenai.com and we'll fix it.
Who we are
Kaizhen is a B2B consultancy that builds automation, AI agents, and internal tools for growing teams. The website is operated by Damian Kao. For any privacy-related question or request, contact damian.k@kaizhenai.com.
What information we collect
Information you give us
When you fill out a form on the site (strategy session request, contact form, or similar), we collect the information you submit — typically your name, work email, company name, and a short description of what you're trying to solve. We use this to respond to your request and, if you become a client, to deliver services.
Information collected automatically
When you visit any page on the site, our analytics and infrastructure providers automatically collect:
- Your IP address and approximate location (city/country) derived from it
- Your browser type, operating system, and device type
- Pages you visit on the site, the order you visit them in, and how long you stay
- The site or source that referred you (e.g., Google search, LinkedIn)
B2B visitor identification
We use a third-party tool (RB2B) that uses your IP address to identify the company you're visiting from when you appear to be browsing from a business network. For some US-based visitors, the tool may also identify you as a specific person based on their internal data sources. This is used by us for sales follow-up — for example, if a target client's employee visits our pricing page, we may reach out by email or LinkedIn. You can opt out of this identification by contacting us at damian.k@kaizhenai.com.
How we use information
We use the information we collect to:
- Respond to inquiries and deliver the services you've asked us about
- Understand which content and pages are useful so we can improve the site
- Identify potential client interest for sales outreach (B2B visitor identification, described above)
- Detect and prevent abuse, fraud, or technical problems
- Meet legal obligations when required
We do not sell your personal information. We do not run retargeting advertising based on your visit. We do not use your information to train AI models.
Third-party services and cookies
The site loads a number of third-party services to provide analytics, performance monitoring, fonts, scheduling, and visitor identification. Each of these may set cookies in your browser or receive your IP address as part of normal operation.
| Service | Purpose | Provider |
|---|---|---|
| Google Tag Manager & Google Analytics 4 | Website analytics — page views, sources, behavior | Google LLC (US) |
| RB2B | B2B visitor identification (company + sometimes person) | RB2B, Inc. (US) |
| Vercel Speed Insights | Performance monitoring (page load times) | Vercel Inc. (US) |
| Vercel hosting | Serving the website itself | Vercel Inc. (US) |
| Google Fonts | Web fonts (Inter, JetBrains Mono) | Google LLC (US) |
| unpkg | CDN for icon and styling libraries | Cloudflare (US) |
| Cal.com | Booking calendar embed (on contact pages) | Cal.com, Inc. (Germany / EU) |
All of these providers may receive information such as your IP address,
browser type, and the page you were viewing when the request was made.
Several of them set browser cookies — the most common ones set on
kaizhen.pro are Google Analytics identifiers (e.g., _ga,
_ga_*) and RB2B's identification cookie.
How we share information
We share information only in the following situations:
- With the service providers listed above, who process the data on our behalf to provide their service
- When required by law, valid legal process, or to protect against fraud or abuse
- In the event of a sale or restructuring of the business, in which case information would transfer to the new owner under this same policy
We do not sell or rent your personal information to anyone.
Where data is processed
Kaizhen is based in the United States. Most of the service providers above are also based in the US, which means that data collected by them is processed and stored in the US. If you are visiting from the European Union, the United Kingdom, or another region with data-transfer rules, your information may be transferred to and processed in the United States. By using this site, you consent to that transfer.
Your rights
You have the right to ask us what information we have about you, to correct it, or to delete it. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under laws like the EU/UK GDPR, the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA), or one of the other US state privacy laws now in force.
To exercise any of these rights, email damian.k@kaizhenai.com. We will respond within 30 days. There is no charge for reasonable requests.
Specifically, you can ask us to:
- Tell you what personal information we have about you
- Provide a copy of that information
- Correct anything that is inaccurate
- Delete your information from our systems and request that our service providers do the same
- Stop using your information for sales outreach (B2B identification opt-out)
- Stop using your information for marketing communications
Data retention
We retain form submission data (name, email, company, message) for as long as is necessary to respond to your inquiry and maintain a record of our communications — typically up to three years from the last contact, unless you ask us to delete it sooner. Analytics data collected by Google Analytics is retained according to our Google Analytics 4 retention setting (default 14 months).
Security
We take reasonable measures to protect the information we collect, including using encrypted connections (HTTPS) for the website and forms, and limiting access to systems that store form submissions. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure; we will notify affected users in the event of a breach that materially affects them.
Children
The site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe we have done so by mistake, contact us and we will delete it.
Cookies and tracking choices
Most browsers let you block or delete cookies. Blocking analytics or advertising cookies will not prevent you from using the site, though it may affect how we see your visit in our analytics. You can also opt out of Google Analytics tracking specifically by installing the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.
Our cookie notification banner appears on your first visit. Dismissing it does not block any tracking — it acknowledges that you have seen this policy. To stop all third-party tracking entirely, the most reliable option is to use a browser-level tracker blocker such as uBlock Origin or Brave's built-in shields, or to email us a deletion request as described above.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy in a material way, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top and, where appropriate, notify users who have contacted us. Minor edits for clarity will not be separately announced.
